SEO Tucson or Tucson SEO Which Is Better
This post is simply meant to replace my blog as a second option in the Google search results. This blogs home page had ranked # 2 in the search results right behind the home page for the search queries Tucson SEO and SEO Tucson. That changed with a mid summer Panda update from Google. That left me with only one page showing in the Google results.
So I figured that I would write a post that targets SEO Tucson and Tucson SEO and then add some backlinks and see what happens.
Update 10/04: Nothing to write home about but the post is now ranking on the third page of the Google results. Yep, it’s in position 21. It will be interesting to see if this update move the needle, ranking wise that is!
Update 10/05: As I attempt to take this post to the number 2 position I realized this. I am competing against several of my social media profiles. Right now, my Twitter, Facebook, and Yelp accounts out rank this page. Then there is the three YouTube videos.

Short Sale Expert Agent Tucson – Best Tips Phoenix
I’m an SEO guy, Right? So if your a short sale real estate agent in Tucson or Phoenix you gotta be asking yourself “What’s this guy up-to?” And that would be a fair question. Well, my goal is to accomplish several things. First, I wanted to get the attention of the short sale segment of the Tucson and Phoenix real estate market. And more specifically, experts who will share their tips and knowledge here.
I also wanted you to see SEO being played out in your niche Tucson or Phoenix real estate markets. So how am I doing so far? Have I acquired your attention? Well, maybe or maybe not yet. There no doubt, I certainly have acquired the attention of Google this I am sure of.
This post will be updated on a regular or until someone hires me to do this for them! Yes, I am prospecting here. And I fully expect this post to rank well in the Google search results.
I also wanted you to see the power and local internet marketing in action and in your Short Sale niche. My goal is to include actual useful tips from local short sale experts in Tucson. So I encourage you to share your knowledge with a tip or two. As this post develops there will be SEO tips on display within this post and comments.
As part of this post I will also examine how well this post is ranking in the Google search results. It’s my way of showing you that I not only talk the talk when it comes to SEO, but I also walk the walk. I also am working on 2 similar posts called Short Sale Specialist Tucson Phoenix and Short Sales Tips Tucson Phoenix – Getting Your Attention that I invite you to check out as well.
I should point out hat this post is already ranking # 1 for Short Sale Tips Tucson and it ranks # 3 in Google for Short Sale Tips Phoenix. The challenge is not so much about ranking well, it is about staying there over time.
Update 09/06/2011: I am hoping that this screenshot gets someones attention in the Tucson or Phoenix markets that consider themselves to be an expert in this market niche.
That’s right? An SEO website is ranking # 1 for Short Sales Expert in Tucson. Would you like me to go away and replace my website with yours? Then do give me a call as I am good and I am available!
Update 09/09/2011: Here is a story with some free SEO advice included. Someone just left a comment on this post. They used the name Phoenix Short Sale. I should point out that I seldom allow keywords to be used in the name field. They also included a link to their website within the comment which I never allow and it was removed.
Here’s the SEO part. I still used the comment as it provided fresh content for the post. Fresh content, even if spam, can help improve or maintain your rankings. Yes, comments are important!
Here is the anther SEO tip. Serious searchers will not search for products or service by using the city’s name first as in Phoenix Short Sale. Real people will search for Short Sale first. If this doesn’t work they will use Short Sale Phoenix. And these are the serious searchers. This should be your targeted market.
If I had know this when I started this business I would not be Tucson SEO Solutions. No, a better choice would have been SEO Tucson Solutions. This is advice that you can take to the bank!
Update 09/23/2011: I have been so busy lately that I just have not gotten back to updating this post in 2 weeks. It seems I no longer rank # 1 for the search Short Sales Expert Tucson. The blog does rank both # 2 and # 3. The first position appears to be a new comer to the local rankings. I just noticed this website a few days ago and it has rocketed up the rankings across several keyword phrases that I track.
It appears the websites owner or a hired hand it doing a good job with local SEO. I find this development very interesting!

Short Sales Tips in Tucson or Phoenix – Getting Your Attention
As with any business there are a myriad of ways to market a business. As an SEO provider we sometimes times have an advantage. That is, if our website has a blog, and especially if that blog has something called Page Rank.
Well, this is an advantage that my business has as I have a blog that has a Page Rank of 3. Having a blog gives any local small business a huge advantage over their competitors. It gives you the opportunity to target any topic in your niche that you desire. If you want to promote a certain product or services a blog gives you ready access to these markets. It’s also a great tool for getting attention.
This especially true if you are attempting to sell a specific product or service. In my case, I am attempting to sell my SEO services, by showing my skills in action. How am I doing so far?
As a local SEO provider a blog allows me to target any market that I would like to do business in. As an example, I wanted to work with a client in the short sale segment of the real estate market. So I wrote this and 2 other posts about the industry on this blog. I quickly landed my blog posts onto the first page of the Google results almost immediately.
For me it is simply about getting the attention of perspective realtor’s in Tucson and Phoenix by targeting their niche. One of the keyword phrases that I chose to target was Short Sale Tips Tucson and Phoenix. I figured that if an SEO provider can rank well for none SEO related terms that it might get someone attention in this market.
So let’s take a look at this screen shot of the Google results for Short Sale Tips Tucson. I figured that someone looking to learn about short sales info may also be searching for tips.
As you can see here Tucson SEO Solutions has used a blog post and basic SEO techniques to acquire the # 1 position for this keyword phrase. I take the time to point this out so that I can say this. If you are a realtor in Tucson or Phoenix I could be doing this for you!
Update 09/06/2011: I was very pleased to find that I was ranking # 1 for short sale tips in Tucson. Now, I have managed to rank both #1 and # 2 in Phoenix which I think is way cool. But I would be even happier to be doing this for you!

Google’s Google Places Page And Descriptive Terms
Sometimes corporations do the weirdest things that leave ya” scratching your head. Some times it evolves wasting billions of dollars on questionable purchases of other businesses. And sometimes they create products that serve on real purpose or that were rolled out way to soon, or both.
Let take for instance, Cisco’s purchase of the Flip videos camera for about $590 million. Now, that was back in the Spring of 2009. Then in the spring of 2011 they shuttered the company. They likely took it as a write down and that was that. In the process cutting almost 600 jobs. They never saw that the smart phone was replacing the need for Flip like devices.
Or maybe I should examine HP for its $1.2 Billion purchase of Palm and its web OS software. This software was the engine that ran it’s new iPad killer called Touch. Touch is a tablet meant to compete with the iPad from Apple. It was rolled out about three months ago with an iPad like price. Soon that price was dropped to $399.00 Then recently HP said it was closing down the touch, as in it would no longer be manufacturing the product.
HP began to blow the remaining stock for $99.oo Now, the tablet that cost $309.00 to manufacture has a hit. So much so, that HP decided to rev up the production again. Yep, there losing over $200.00 per unit and they decided to make some more. Is this crazy or what? And the are still planning on walking away from their investment, which with advertising make it about a $1.5 Billion loss.
Since I have been discussing some really bad tech businesses decisions you likely know where this one is going. You likely are starting to think about Google’s purchase of Motorola Mobility for about $13 Billion. But that’s not where this post is going. Bur the boneheaded Google topic that I want
But I said this article was about Google and more specifically about its home office’s Places listing and the Descriptive Terms that appear in its listing. This is a screen shot Google’s Mountain View Places page.
It might be hard to see Google’s Places page Descriptive Terms so lets take a closer look.
That’s right it say’s “western union” “quick cash” “proceedings of” “account” and “e-mail.” Of these only e-mail and account could be readily associated with Google. Just like Cisco and HP, Google appears to have made a rushed decision with the introduction of Descriptive Terms. If Google’s algorithm for this feature can not accurately describe itself how will it ever work on other Places pages?
It makes ya” wonder what’s going on with Google and these other tech companies. How can all these brilliant minds make so many bad decisions? As for Google, this is yet another example of many problems that Google is experiencing with its Places pages. It also isn’t very encouraging when Google’s can’t even describe its own business very well with this feature!
