First, let me start off by explaining what the acronym DIY stands for. DIY stands for Do It Yourself. It’s the kind of backlink building that we all do when we can’t afford to pay someone. You end up doing it yourself. Well, there is a website that is In Beta testing (Beta testing closed) that is offering a great opportunity for you to build backlinks. That site is called the Do Follow Websites. The site offers to show you who to build backlinks on high Page Rank Social Media membership sites. Not only that, it shows you how to build these links ethically so that your account doesn’t get deleted or banned for spamming.

You will need to visit the website and apply for membership. If your application is accepted you will receive another invitation to join the Alpha Group where the backlink program resides. The program will provide directions and screen shoots to assist you to acquire a total of 66 backlinks from high PR sites (4 – 8).

This program doesn’t just show you how to just set up a profile it shows you how to optimize these sites to your best advantage. It shows you what you must do to add value to each website. You must be prepared to make several none spammy or self promoting blog posts. The program only uses social media sites that allow user generated content that that provide Do Follow backlinks. This is a tremendous opportunity to learn how to use Social Media to your advantage while helping the sites out as well by provide quality comments and content.

The program works on an honor system it asks that to maintain the integrity of the program that you only use it on one website. Similar programs have blown up and collapsed because members have used and abused these programs over and over again. Some have even re-posted this information on forums. The end result is that the sites presented in these programs see this as spam and delete all of those using these programs. A program that was designed to realistic accommodate 1,000 websites ends up with 10 – 20 thousand people using the same websites and all of them are doing the same things. The end results is everyone gets deleted and the only one who benefits is the person who started the program.

The Do Follow Websites hope to avoid this situation by carefully monitoring who gets into the program and requiring members to honor a strict code of conduct. This project appears to be as much a social experiment as it is a link building program. It should be very interesting to see I this all plays out. I will keep our readers posted. Even if you miss the free Beta testing portion of this program you still will want to check out the program. The cost is a mere $9.90 and that works out to .15 a link. That’s a bargain in anyone’s book.

I am so looking forward to this! I have been swamped, but this is at the top of my list. I do appreciate that you are looking for integrity with this program, especially to keep people from using it on multiple websites. You definitely do not want this program to be blocked as a result of people abusing it through spam.

I recently retired and have spent the past three months learning the ins and outs of Internet marketing. I’ve found the most important tenet is ‘Friendship Before Business’.
Interestingly, this is what commerce was like 150 years ago – when all stores were neighborhood stores, before the advent of mass advertising, chains of stores, etc.
I like this philosophy. It encourages you to make friends with others from all over the world, encourages understanding among different cultures and – to put it bluntly – makes it so the most important things in life have to be your first priority. Which is how it should be.

This program seems to be an interesting project. I hope it works out and the participants play fair. I have problems with proper use of social media, they seem a bit confusing and overwhelming. I would sure appreciate a few tips.
I’m interested in beta testing, if the offer still stands.

Sounds like a great program for sure. I am interested in checking it out for sure… Links are definetly worth having a campaign and building on a weekly basis. It takes time and effort.

    Hi Tucson,

We set up our niche ecommerce store a couple of months ago and I have been painstakingly approaching the right kind of link partners, writing articles and attempting to get ourselves out there as much as possible on the forums and blogs.

I do have a slight phobia of social bookmarking as Im none to aware of how it works or the right way to go about it. I would be more than grateful to take part in your program should you have space.

This reminds me of the “pay it forward” principle, which was a cracking film with the littel Hayley Joel Osmen in it. Give it a watch if your have time.

    Enthusiastically

    Regards

    Christian

I’m interested in this, whether via the free beta or the paid version. Unless I’m mistaken this is similar to Angela Edwards and PJ’s backlinks – is that right? Both those methods have had good reports, but I think part of the problem is that the information from those systems was leaked to non-subscribers, leading to lots of sites on the lists removing the ability to get backlinks. Hopefully we won’t see history repeated and the information prov

Admin: James, Yes this program is similar to those programs that you mentioned. I have studied these programs for months and I have learned from their mistakes and from what they did correctly. I have taken steps to avoid these mistakes by limiting the membership and who can get in.

This program is based on not just getting links but it is about providing quality content to these sites. This assures that the links will stay. I have no desire to send link whores to these sites!!!!!!!!!

Having said that I can not link to your directory as it does not allow the use of keywords in the title field. You must remember I’m an SEO guy and I never waste the businesses name in the title field.

That is a great deal in terms of what you are paying per link. How many high ranking sites would you say are available on that site? Would you say the majority of link are PR above1?

Admin: I have sell or buy links

This is completely off topic but I hope it will get approved.

Help raise money for cancer research, read my last blog post to find out how. It is not everyday that you find a way to help using only your time and no money.

I went to your DoFollow Website and what a great deal. I am going to apply.

I find most sites are nofollow now. this is one of the rare ones. :) That’s an interesting idea forcing people to make a comment 150 count long. A lot of people post short one sentance comments.

Create great content and post it on your website. When you have great content on your website, you entice other webmasters to share your content on their sites by providing a link back to you
