Quality Do Follow Backlinks Resources?

No Comments Links Provided For This Post

Finally, after several long drawn out months we have completed the upgrade to this blog. We have added all of the following plugins Do Follow, Comment and Keyword Luv. We have added all of these plugins to make our blog a friendly place to comment.

It is part of what we have been calling Scratch My Back Marketing.” The idea here is that you scratch our backs with use comments of at least 150 characters in length. We then scratch your back with useful Do Follow Anchor Text links. If you are a blog owner with an RSS feed enabled you will get an extra link.

We now are using the Scratch My Back Marketing plugin. It is an anti spam plugin. It has been developed to halt what is commonly known as drive by comments such as “nice post” or “thanks for the link.” I have been wanting this plugin for about six month and now. It is here for Beta testing. It will soon be available on WordPress.

Whose back are you scratching?

We at Tucson SEO Solutions are officially requesting that you join the conversation here. That is, if you found that this post was at all interesting, useful, or perhaps you are just looking for a useful link. Then, I would like to entice you to comment by providing you with useful backlinks as part of what I call “Scratch My Back Marketing.”

We are now using the Scratch My Back Marketing plugin. This anti spam plugin simply requires that your comment be at least 150 characters in length or it is automatically rejected. It’s that simple. We are now forcing commenters to do what we were requesting for months on this blog! The blog also uses Keyword and Comment Luv. Please note that if you only include keyword your comment may be used put you will not obtain a link!

The Scratch My Back Marketing requires you to scratch this blog by leaving a useful comment. We then will provide you with an anchor text Do Follow Link. It’s all about win/win marketing. I am willing to exchange page rank for the bump that a fresh comment provides.

Are you ready to exchange comments for links?

This is the part where I move link juice around the site and hope that someone might actually want to learn more about our local small business solutions and venture further.

  1. That’s no good… there are lots of hacks going around right now. This is the Top Commentators plugin that I use – http://www.pfadvice.com/wordpress-plugins/show-top-commentators/. I’ve been only using plugins that I can install straight from WordPress that have been downloaded many times and rated.

Admin: Hi Kristi, The plugin was downloaded from WordPress and rated well!

  2. I have been using keyword luv on my blog and am really loving it — just watch out for spammers!

  3. Are you using the latest and greatest wordpress version? I want to install CommentLuv and KeywordLuv but I heard that they don’t play well with the latest launch. I was waiting until I heard from someone who was not having problems.

I think making your site as user friendly as possible is really the key to online success. As much as we would like to think otherwise, most people really do want to get as much as possible for the least effort possible so providing that ROI can really draw people in. Of course, great content helps. :)

    Cheers, Mandy

I haven’t had any problems. Comment Luv has just released a new version and it may still be a bit buggy. Having said that, the author Andy gets on top of these things and actively supports his plugin.

  4. Hi,
Keyword Luv is a great plugin, and I think it definatly will help people find your blog. People search for “Keyword Luv”, and then get directed to your blog and want to comment. Great idea.

This tool is fantastic – a great way to show repsect to your readers and to encourage a bit of debate…sometimes people need a bit of a push/incentive to do so! I’m sure you’ll have seen traffic increase significantly though as a result, at least I hope so!

Admin: Hi, you have been leaving comments here lately that I have deleted and I will continue to delete. I will not allow links to an escort service nor will I provide services for one. I have been asked.

  6. Polly@assurance hypothécaire says:

Hello. I just noticed there aren’t any list of the Do-Follow blogs anymore…but I’ve got a question [I'm still kinda new in d seo thingy] if you could assist me with. Are “No-Follow” links completely irrelevant to google? cos there was a site i pasted a link on, i clearly saw it was a “no-follow” link [with the seo firefox thing] but google soon acknowledged it, and credited me for it.

Admin: Great question. I don’t know what you mean by Google credit me. No Follow means the link has no value to affect the SERP’s. Sorry, but I don’t link to foreign language sites.

I appreciate your honesty in this blog, and also your generosity of spirit. It kind of reminds me of the old days of the internet, when there was a feeling of collegiality and exploration. Keep up the good work!

Admin: Ted, Thanks for the comment. I really do care about the success of my readers. I glad that you noticed.

  8. I just happened upon your site after flipping through some Google blog listings, and I was compelled to comment on your “Scratch My Back Marketing” concept. Frankly, I’m impressed. Keep up the good work, this is what cooperative marketing is all about.

Also, I checked and “scratchmybackmarketing” dot com is already taken!

    Great post.
    Thanks.

Admin: Looks like a great comment, but its the 10th time I’ve seen it this month!

  10. Apart from the “good old days” fuss – making such things like letting meaningful non-spammy linking go back and forth is something that counteracts the stingy hype about everyone being so scared if letting some of its extremely valuable “link juice”. But hey, did I say stingy ?
Competition is a good thing and exists fully in nature but cooperation makes the world a bit better. And linking doesn’t hurt that bad!

  11. Nimmy says:

    Hi,
You have everything that all i needed for my work that is very important for me and als it provided me with all the stuffs.

also the do follow, KeywordLuv and commentLuv Plug ins are always good to have and though they just gives you every thing you want.

    Thanks.

  12. Aditya@Seo consultant india says:

    Hi,
Keyword love is a wonderful option to add to your blog. It gives readers incentive to add relevant comments by being rewarded with a backlink.
    Thanks for the sharing.

Admin: This is an example of spam that appears to be the real thing.

  13. Great! it’s nice to see a site(blog) working proactively rather than simply moaning about blog spam.

I agree whole heatedly that a decent comment is worth a bit of ‘pr leakage’, as unless you are just in the website business to sell pr links, then serps are what matters!

One thing caught my eye though…

The issue of the hack you had, and the involvement of the top commentator plugin. The reason I am so interested in this is that I was actually thinking of installing that plugin, and now I am concerned! – Did you find out if that was involved at all?

Also, did you try the plugin that Wayne A provided? did it help?

Thanks! – Sorry for all the questions!

Admin: I deleted the plugin and moved on.

  14. Nimmy@Suk says:

This is something that are very important to have and also it boost you with the linl juice and also increases the traffic to the site.

    Thanks,

  15. Elle @ Womens Bodybuilding says:

The keywordluv tool is pretty cool. It always looks so cheesy when all the comments are from a keyword name. At least this is a little more professional and webmasters can get their link love.

Admin: Very well said! But I don’t link to one page websites.

  16. Niki@SEO Indore says:

Use only those plugin who have good ranking. I want to suggest you that use only these 3 plugin(do follow, KeywordLuv and commentLuv Plug) for get more trafic on your blog.

Admin: Spam Alert… Already in use!

  17. I seen people talk about the good and bad points but it seems to have helped some sites do very well with a lot more traffic and comments and good page rank.

  18. drs says:

I am searching the do follow blog in Google and get your blog trully i want to say about blog that is awesome…..

    Keep ip Up..

  19. Ct says:

I think KeywordLuv is great. It gives appropriate credit for a comment, helps build everyone’s websites in Google

Admin: Commenting on the same post on the same day with in 30 minutes will never get you a link.

  20. alc says:

hi, building link to our site is very necessary to get traffic and to become top link of SERP. Keyword luv is very helpful in link building.

Admin: This comment was from a paid link builder who usually leaves spam!

  21. nicole@berita ekonomi says:

i guess my comment being denied by you..its ok..nice to know you.

Admin: Your website isn’t a language that most of my readers and I do not speak. So linking to your site does not benefit them. Since I can not read what on your site I am not willing to take the risk. I have been doing this all along I just thought it needed to shared as to save you time. I don’t want you or I to waste time on comments that will never be posted.

  22. Beryl says:

I think that mental strength is necessary to have an impactful presence in the business world. Especially when you consider the current scenario, where market position quite dicey. Am sure, you know what can happen next, but if you don have the strength to face it, be prepared for facing the wrath of the situation…

Admin: Spam comes in many different varieties!

  23. Could the attack on your site have been a result of compatibility issues between the plugin and WordPress version? I’ve seen a few problems on my blogs where a plugin has been written for, say, WP 2.3 but I’m running WP v2.5.1. Just a thought.

Admin: Hi James, a comparability would screw things up so that they would not work. However, in this case 10 websites were deleted and one was added showing that Nicole had made 132 comments. Since I review all comments I knew that was wrong. Clicking on the site verified that it was a porno site.

  24. aditya@auto loan calculator says:

Admin: Your blog was no comments and looks to be an Affiliate blog and has not been updated in two months so I will not provide a link no matter how good the comment.

  25. Hi,
very nice post.It is great combination.Keywordluv and commentluv are the efficient plug-in than other word-press plug-in.But are useful for the commentator when blog is dofollow.
    Thanks for the sharing.

keyword luv is ok and today many webmaster use this term to avoid the spamming and it’s effective..

  31. Rex@term life insurance canada says:

Hello, thank you for posting this great article very helpful and informative specially for newbie like me.

  32. James@32 LED says:

@Fr – it’s not just about commenting spamming. Some webmasters are happy to let allow comments that include anchor text but KL also gives you a real name that you can communicate with hence the popularity of this plugin, both from an SEO and social perspective.

  33. Jack @ Dead Sea Salt Products says:

I have commentluv, dofollow, and keywordluv in stalled on my wordpress blog also. My site is new but I have some my research and I think the concept is great. It is a win/win situation for everyone. The blog owner gets content and the commenter gets a backlink. Thanks for the opportunity!
.-= Jack @ Dead Sea Salt Products´s last blog ..Wholesale Dead Sea Salt

Admin: I would agree except for the drive by comments part. You will likely see many comments that are not worthy of a link.

  34. Lg says:

Most people aware of having their comments followed still only enter their name and main website address in the comment header. I’m one of those people. Anyway, what we end up with is a bunch of backlinks that use our names as the anchor text. These particular backlinks are practically worthless for link-building and keyword/phrase authority. What we should be doing is using keywords or key phrases instead of our names and using specific page URLs. There’s one drawback: If the content of the page being commented on isn’t related to our keywords/phrases, the backlinks won’t do much to improve our authority for them. They’ll be better than the first kind of backlinks, but not as good as backlinks related to the content of that page. I’ve tested these techniques since January of 2008, but I could still be wrong. Google changes their algorithms all the time and what’s true today may not be true tomorrow.

  35. ANSH@T says:

Hi, I always try to give preference to the kyewordluv blogs. If you are using the keyword luv blogs then ,you can get quick results. Anyways Thanks for sharing the information.

Admin: I will never be providing this commenter with a link. This person is a paid link builder who has left dozens of spam comments here. He has gotten much better and now attempts to leave useful comments, but he was banned months ago.

  38. This keywordluv plugin is great i have to say, have all the good words for it :)

Its my favourite plugin. I am getting a lot more related quality comments on my blog and it really motivates people to comment a lot and leave quality comments.

    Highly recommended

  39. honey@Alternative says:

If you install this plugin, your blog will get alot more traffic since people love keyword and comment. I will help your sites do very well with alot more traffic and comments and good page rank.

  40. Cpi says:

I see that you’ve enabled the plugin as well. Did you solve the hacking problem? What was the issue? Is it plugin? I’m using similar plugins and would like to know if they are safe or not

Admin: If you want a link here you will need to leanr how to use comment luv.

  41. Felix says:

I installed dofollow and keyworldluv plug-in on my site but the theme that I selected seems not compatible with the said plug-ins. Its not working but later I will try to fix this problem and let other people here knows about it.

  42. David from Ttim says:

While I can see that your “Scratch My Back Marketing” plugin will work in most cases, what it will do is just make the black hatters a bit more sophisticated. It just slows them down a little bit too. Some people are only in it for the short term quick profits. But, even though someone may develop a ‘tool’ to defeat it, I do think it is necessary to keep the ‘lazy’ ones from spamming.

Anyway, it would be good for the information on this post you’ve made be automatically included in the blank space that usually is next to the text boxes where comments are entered. This should prevent frivolous comments to moderate.

  43. varios de scooby doo para jugar says:

its amazing, the idea is marveolous but i wonder how far will we be able to get, probably will work for some years. amazing man. By the way these plugins are also useful

  44. Pstr says:

Do Follow Attribute is good for another user but comment must be good provided by the user and make sure spamming shouldn’t allow through your blogs..and from do follow blog u can get good views for your blog as well !!!

  45. Big M blog says:

This is useful info for me.First time i have posted comment in your blog.I find the valuable information is provided by you.

I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don’t know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

Admin: Ok, now please learn how to use Keyword Luv if you want a link.

  46. Shakti@Cleaning says:

I have a blog and a site related to cleaning. I want to promote them and doing commenting and some other stuffs for increasing the backlinks of the site and blog. I use some plugins which are install straight from word press. I want to ask is this plugins are good or not.

Admin: You might want to start by stop putting links in your comments. Your comments will almost always get deleted that way. Why should you get an extra link?

  47. The only problem with dofollow is the amount of comment spam you are bound to get. There are lists of dofollow blogs being generated everywhere which are bound to get abused by spammers. The scratch my back plugin could be the answer though (although in time the spammers will probably find a way to defeat it).
I know spam comments can always be deleted but what happens in the meantime if Google comes along and sees your site linking-out to a “bad neighbourhood” – or do you just moderate all comments first???

Admin: Hi Paul, Eventually, given enough time and thought any plugin will become obsolete. However, for one week since I have had the plugin on the blog I have not had and drive bye comments. I like that! The plugin will not solve the problem of spam but it sure does help! This blog is moderated so I don’t have a problem with bad links.

  48. Steve@Reverse Phone Look says:

I’ve just started looking into keyword luv and comment luv. I thought I’d see how others were using them and what the consensus was. The I found this post which will really help me. I’ll be adding the Scratch My Back plugin and also looking into monitoring my blog with the Hacked Files script. Thanks for some great resources and good commentry!

Admin: I will be looking forward to linking to you once you grow your blog and get some comments. Thanks, for sharing.

  49. This is a great plugin, till now I knew only about Keywordluv and other plugins but Scratch My Back Marketing seems to be a nice plugin. I am planning to buy a hosting package which will host my wordpress blog, as it’ll be new I won’t be trying my hands with this plugin because it may bring less traffic, once I feel I have got enough legitimate readers, I will get this plugin on so that I can get constructive feedback from my readers.

Yeah spam is a big problem with dofollow blogs and you’re correct there are so many dofollow search engines but having used a few of them, many of them have sadly turned into nofollow. Moderating is a big task as well, it requires time.

Admin: Mark, if you are going to be a Do Follow blog you will need all of the defenses as possible. I strongly urge you to add Tan Tan Noodles to your blog. It stops all auto bot spam! Thanks for the great comment.
