I had noticed that on several high ranked sites that when you try to view the cached version Google always said “these keywords only appear in links to this site”, but never knew what it meant. Thanks for the explanation.

I always thought that your keyword had to appear on your page, so it’s great to know that you will be ranked specifically on your anchor text by Google, even if it isn’t appearing on your page.

Very interesting stuff. Being that I am new to the whole SEO world, I have done a ton of research over the past few weeks trying to conjure up as much information as my mind would fit. But this is the 1st time I have ever heard about this. Sounds like you can only manipulate Google for so long until they figure you out..
