I wrote this back in 2007. I posted it on a bunch of forums. I though it was funny but many of the commenter’s did have my point of view which of course I though was strange. So here it is again.
1. Time.
2. No Time.
3. Not Enough Time.
4. Finding The “Write Time.”
5. Takes Way Too Much Time.
6. Developing A Story Demands Your Time.
7. Return On Investment Very Uncertain Over Time.
8. Comment Responding Demands Detailed Attention And More Time.
9. Reading, Writing, And Research Requires Copious Amounts Of Time.
10. Trusted And Steady Readers Can Only Be Obtained Over Time.

As I went back over this post I still agree that’s its present a fair look at the negative side of blogging and its required time element. I mostly enjoy blogging but it really demands my attention as I have dyslexia. I off reread posts many times over and miss obvious mistakes. This post is over three years old and I discovered a minor error today!
I used to have Geri proof read my posts before publishing them. However, since her illness I have been on my own. This all came into focus today as I was working my way through my blog one post at a time. I am purging old posts so I am reliving my blog one post at a time.

Very interesting blog since I have previously owned a cleaning business.
I mentioned this post on Digital Point Forum and wow did I get a huge amount a flack. Then someone copied it and posted my copy written material.
When I asked DP to take it down they hit me with several penalties. This got a little crazy.
People took the post all wrong like I was somehow evil… Wow!

I thought this was a really funny post that really made a lot of sense to me. Yes, blogging does take time but it can be so very rewarding. Thanks a bunch. I really like your approach to SEO!
A lot of people over on DP are stuck in their ways and aren’t even open to peoples thoughts or opinions. You are either right or wrong.. which is kinda funny given the fact that their aren’t many “right” or “wrong” ways for seo and blog writing.
Maybe the biggest reason is difficult to wrote a blog post, people too lazy writing right now.
Time definitely plays a role on why people create blogs. They either have nothing to do or really need to do something. I think people usually write blogs to express themselves and to get opinions from other people about what they wrote.
