Welcome To Day 8 Of The 109 Day Link Building Explosion.

If this is your first time using this link building explosion program we would suggest that you start by reading this first, The 109 Day Link Building Explosion Coming Soon. You will get the most out of this program if you start at the beginning. Whether you live in Tolleson, Arizona or some where else you should find this useful.

Before I begin with today’s program I would like to spend a little time on the topic of giving to others. I read a great article on Search Engine Watch yesterday. It dealt with how to properly use social media outlets to build community and to grow a business. It said what I have been expressing here. This link build program is really about providing quality material in the form of comments on other sites. You are then rewarded with valuable backlinks that assists your site in achieving higher search rankings.

I would like to take this a step further and admit that I had a bit of a learning curve when I began to use social media sites for link building. My focus, in the beginning was on link building and not giving enough or not paying enough attention to my comments. I have seen the light and that is why I am so adamant about this now. Having a blog has really help change my perspective on this subject. I almost always will delete the “nice post” comments that our left behind. If you don’t have a blog or own a forum this may seem strange, but you can only read so many bogus comments before it begins to get to you.

Sometimes I become somewhat sad when I realize how many people use our websites resources and how few people actually bother to leave a comment. However, there is a flip side to this story. Occasionally someone comes along and tells us how grateful they are or they leave a relevant comment. When you are the blog owner and you read great comments, this can make your day. It comes down to being appreciated. If I have experienced a rough day a great comment can lift my spirits.

So please, I ask you if you are not prepared to leave useful comments on these sites then don’t use this program.

Here are today’s sites:

FaceBook - http://www.facebook.com

By now, if you have found this website you have most likely heard about FaceBook. It is one of the most popular social media sites in the world. I like to think of it as a generic version of MySpace. Some individuals and groups have done very well marketing their businesses on this site. If you have never used FaceBook and you have access to a teenager in your family or in your group of friend I would ask them to show you the ropes.

We have two FaceBook accounts that I seldom use. However, I have listed our seminars, and job openings. These efforts have lead to several inquiries.

Code 4 Gold - http://www.code4gold.com/forums

Here is a forum that has had to take action against spammers. It had allowed members to register and to begin posting with signature links from the beginning. Due to abuse they had to adjust to this. It now requires you to make 10 posts before your signature is activated. I have always thought these kinds of policies made sense.

If you like this forum and use it on a regular basis you will be rewarded with lots of links.

The forum has about 14,000 members some of which are very active. The forums have nearly 70 sub forums to choose from including SEO, Blogging, and much, much, more. We have yet, to use it ourselves but that will change soon. I like what I have seen so far.

Aussie Blogger – http://www.aussiebloggers.com.au/forum

This forum is a very serious blogging forum and is well monitored. I had my introduction deleted for providing way too much business info when they were looking for personal information. So even if you have the best intentions it is easy to make innocent mistakes. The moderator that I dealt with was cool about it. You just need to try to see things from their perspective.

This is a small niche forum with only around 1200 members so they have a real sense of community here. The site has about a dozen or so sub forums covering the basics of blogging. I just responded to a thread about WordPress 2.7 which we are in the process of updating ourselves. So as you might be noticing I use almost all of the sites that are referenced here.

Big Foot Web Marketing - http:www.bigfootmarketing.com

This blog is written by Lisa Stewart. It also has been included in our Do Follow List of Lists. I always seem to find something useful when I visit this site. Today, I found a little gem about how to create the copy write symbol. I have been wondering how this is accomplished but never researched it before. Then I noticed a useful article about how to create a favicon and how they can benefit your blog. Did I say I really like this blog?

My Thoughts - http://mythoughtsideasandramblings.com

This blog is sub titled “A day in the life of a busy mom.” The writer posts whenever a mom can. Some days it three posts and some days its none. I can definitely relate. I have been starting these posts late into the night and sometimes they don’t get done until 2 or 3 in the morning.

Like this one today,I decided to start this post this morning. Good thing that I did because we experienced some technical problems at the office. So it has been a hectic day.

Have a Happy Day 8
