Twitter Marketing Tips – Using TwitterFeed
This is how John describes the video “http://www.johncow.com/twitter-marketing Twitter Marketing Tips – Using TwitterFeed to Post Your Blog Posts to Twitter.” John was extremely brief in his description but he did one thing correctly to enhance his video description. He included a complete url which included the http;//. The advantage here is to John.
John included his blog posts url in his description. Many people miss this marketing opportunity and that’s sad. These video’s are sometimes picked up by blogs just like this one or by other video sites that allow these url’s to become live do follow backlinks. So when I used John’s video I scratched his back by providing a useful Do Follow backlink.
John’s still ahead of the game even if the links are not live or if they are No Follow links. Every time a video gets embedded it has the potential to improve the videos ranking in the YouTube algorithm.
We create video’s to be watched and the more backlinks to your video the better. When I provide video descriptions I always mention the businesses name and then provide a link to my home page upfront. Then at the end I make an invitation to visit my blog with url included. I also include the YouTube url.
This seems to be working well for me as far.
